Professional biography:

Professor Greenfield joined Weston Park Cancer Centre as a Consultant Nurse in Late Effects in September 2009. Professor Greenfield completed a nursing degree at Bristol Polytechnic in 1988, a Certificate in Education at Sheffield Hallam University in 1996 and a PhD at the University of Sheffield in 1998. She also holds postgraduate certificates in cancer studies (University of Newcastle 2007), endocrinology (the Society for Endocrinology 2008), and advanced physical assessment and consultation skills (Sheffield Hallam University 2010). Professor Greenfield's Late Effects team were recognised nationally in the prestigious Health Service Journal/Nursing Times Awards as Cancer Care Team of the Year 2014. Professor Greenfield was awarded Inspirational Leader of the Year by the Yorkshire and Humber NHS Leadership Academy in 2014 and was commended for a Macmillan Excellence Award in Innovation in 2016. Professor Greenfield has been an Honorary Professor in Cancer Survivorship in the Department of Clinical Oncology and Metabolism at the University of Sheffield since 2015.
